[Accordion] Overview
The Schedule provides a variety of views and customization options to help you efficiently manage scheduling information. You can configure how resources are displayed and save preferred configurations as Favorite Views for quick access.
[Permissions] The staff member must have Full access to Schedule [Staff > Staff Info > System Permissions > Schedule]
[Accordion] Getting Started
Schedule Views: The Schedule offers several view options, displayed at the top of the Schedule, allowing you to control how time-blocks and events are presented.
Day View: View a single day for all selected resources
Work Week View: View Monday through Friday for all selected resources
Week View: View a full seven-day week for a single resource
Month View: View an entire month for a single resource
Resource Views: The Schedule offers three different resource views. You can switch between these views by selecting the desired option from the list on the right side of the Schedule.
Staff View:
Users who have granted you full edit permissions appear in blue
Users who have granted you read-only access appear in red
By default, only active staff are displayed
To display inactive staff, click/tap the [[img:tune]] Preferences button and update 'Show Inactive Staff'
Patient View:
Use the dropdown next to the Add button to select:
A patient list
A Scheduling Group (configured via Utilities > Scheduling Group Setup)
Patients by Primary Place of Service (Patient > Patient Demographics > Intake tab)
Room View:
All available rooms are displayed (Global Search > Room Input)
Schedule Favorite Views: The Schedule Favorite Views feature allows staff members to save customized scheduling layouts. You can create multiple Favorite Views and switch between them as needed. Instead of reconfiguring your schedule each time, you can save your preferred setup, including:
Resource view (Staff, Patient, Room)
Selected resources
Time increments
Column widths
Layout preferences
Steps to add a new Schedule Favorite View
Click/Tap the [[img:tune]] Preferences button on the Schedule toolbar at the top of the screen
Click/Tap the [[lbl:Manage Favorite View]] button
Click/Tap the [[img:add >> lbl:Add New Favorite View]] button to add a New Favorite View. The properties of your current view will be selected by default, and you can enter a descriptive name
Save Favorite View: Click/Tap the [[img:save >> lbl:Save]] button to save your Favorite View with your preferred view name
- Loading your Favorite Schedule View
- Quick Load: CTRL + F11 quickly toggles between your Favorite Views
- Click/Tap the Star icon at the top of the screen to quickly toggle between Favorite Views
- Click/Tap the [[img:tune]] button on the Schedule toolbar at the top of the screen and choose Load Favorite View button to select a specific view
- Click/Tap on the view you want to load
[Tip] Resources are color-coded for easy identification: Staff: Black, Patients: Blue, Rooms: Green.

[Q] I am not an Admin user. Can I still add Favorite Views to my Schedule?
[A] Yes, however, you need Full access to the Schedule (Staff > Staff Info > System Permissions > Schedule).
[Q] Can I create multiple Favorite Views?
[A] Yes. You can create as many Favorite Views as needed to match different scheduling scenarios, such as daily, weekly, or resource-specific views.
[Q] Can I edit an existing Favorite View?
[A] You can only edit the name of an existing Favorite View. Click/tap the [[img:tune]] Preferences button on the Schedule toolbar at the top, and select Manage Favorite View. If you need to change any other settings, you’ll need to create a new Favorite View.
[Q] Can I delete a Favorite View?
[A] Yes. Choose Manage Favorites from Preferences. Click the [[lbl:Delete]] button.
[Q] Are Favorite Views shared with other users?
[A] No. Favorite Views are user-specific. Each staff member can create and manage their own set of views based on their scheduling needs.
[Q] What happens if a Resource in my Favorite View is no longer available?
[A] If a Staff, Patient, or Room in your saved view has been removed or deactivated, it won’t appear when you load that Favorite View.
[Q] Why can’t I see the option to Save or Load Favorite Views?
[A] The Favorite Views feature is permission-based. If you don’t see the options, contact your system administrator to ensure that you have Full Access to the Schedule.
