[Accordion] How to Use (General File Upload)
The File Upload component allows you to upload files from your device to ClinicTracker. It’s commonly used to upload patient or staff files in Related Documents, or to upload patient insurance cards from the Demographics or Manage Insurer forms.
Click/Tap on [[lbl:Choose Files]] button to open the File Explorer to locate the file/document you want to upload.
Click/Tap on [[img:Upload >> lbl:Upload]] button to upload the file/document that you selected.
[Note] The File Upload component also supports a Drag/Drop capability. You can drag and drop a file directly on the area inside the dotted square.
[Accordion] How to Use (Profile Picture Upload)
The File Upload component can be used to upload profile pictures. When uploading an image as a profile picture, image editing tools such as Zoom In, Zoom Out, and Rotate are available to help adjust the photo before saving.
- Use [[img: rotate_90_degrees_ccw]] button to rotate the image 90 degrees to the left.
- Use [[img: rotate_90_degrees_cw]] button to rotate the image 90 degrees to the right.
- Use the Zoom Slider to adjust the image size. Slide the control to the right to zoom in and make the image larger, or slide it to the left to zoom out and make the image smaller.

[Q] What file formats can I upload?
[A] This depends on where you are in the application. For instance, Patient Related Documents allows uploads in any file format, while profile pictures are restricted to various image formats.
[Q] Can I upload multiple files at once?
[A] Yes. You can upload multiple files provided you've launched this component through the option to Upload Mutliple Files in modules like Related Documents.
