[Accordion] Overview

The ANSI Reference guides provide a Tree-View that displays information in a hierarchical structure, making it easy to navigate complex or multi-level content. You can browse by expanding or collapsing items to quickly locate specific information.

There are several ANSI Reference guides you will be able to access and review; they include:

  • ANSI 837 Reference (Institutional): This guide will allow you to review the claim structure of the Institutional claims you can submit
  • ANSI 837 Reference (Professional): This guide will allow you to review the claim structure of the Professional claims you can submit
  • ANSI 835 Reference: This guide will allow you to review the claim structure of the ERA Remittance files that are returned from payers or clearinghouses
  • ANSI 997 Reference: This guide will allow you to review the structure of Acknowledgement files received from payers or clearinghouses
  • ANSI 270 Reference: This guide will allow you to review the structure of the Insurance Eligibility Verification requests sent to payers or clearinghouses
  • ANSI 271 Reference: This guide will allow you to review the structure of the Insurance Eligibility Verification responses sent from payers or clearinghouses

[Permissions] The Staff member must have Full permissions to BillingTracker [Staff > Staff Info > System Permissions > BillingTracker]

[Navigation] Utilities > Maintenance > ANSI

  1. Open a Parent Node to begin navigating the hierarchy.

  2. Expand the Parent Node to reveal its Child Nodes, representing the next level of content.

  3. Click/Tap on a Child Node to access its Nested Child Nodes, allowing you to go deeper into the structure.

  4. Selecting any node displays its details in the property viewer. In the example below, we select Subscriber First Name, and we can see where in ClinicTracker the information is pulled from.

[Accordion] FAQs

[Q] Why can’t I see any Child Nodes when I expand a Parent Node?

[A] The selected Parent Node may not contain additional levels, or you may not have permission to view them.
