[Accordion] Overview
The Staff Task Dashboard provides a central view of all tasks and workflows associated with your staff.
It helps teams track deadlines, complete tasks on time, and maintain accurate records for operational compliance and supervisory oversight.
[Accordion] Getting Started
Use the Staff Task Dashboard to track task assignments, meet deadlines, and keep accurate completion records for compliance.
Use the Filter screen to narrow down your task list based on defined criteria.
Steps to manage the Staff Task Dashboard
- Pending/Completed: You can filter tasks by status: Pending, Completed, or Without a Due Date.
- Due by Date: Click/Tap the [[img:Calendar_Month]] button to choose the date by which the task is due.
- Staff Association: Choose to view tasks for Selected Staff, Tasks for My Supervisees, or Tasks Currently Unassigned.
- Responsible Staff: Choose the staff member or all staff who are responsible for the tasks. Check Active Only to limit results to staff who are currently active in the system.
- Patient Name: Select the specific patient you would like to see that tasks are assigned for.
- Triggering Form: Select the form that triggered the Workflow rule.
- Action To Complete: Select the action to be performed as part of the Workflow rule. Select Hide Invalid Items to hide items that were filtered out by a rule (e.g., the patient is not within the age range selected).
- Workflow: Select the name of the active Workflow. Check Disabled to also display Workflows marked as Inactive.
- Program Assignment: Choose a specific Program that is assigned to patients that you would like to filter tasks by.
- Click/Tap on [[img:Search >> lbl:Search]] to find tasks based on your filters.
[[img:more_vert]] Three-dot menu:
- Assign to Me: Assign the selected task to yourself as the Current Responsible staff member.
- Assign to Staff: Open the Staff Lookup to select and assign a new Responsible Staff for the current task.
- Assign to Group: Select the responsible Workflow Staff Group; any member of that group can perform the task(s) and mark it Complete. Go to: Utilities > Workflow Staff Group Setup to configure your Workflow Staff Groups.
- Clear Assignment: Remove the current Staff/Staff Group assignment.
- Add/Edit Comments: Add a new comment for the selected task.
- Mark as Completed: Mark a pending, overdue, or invalid task as Completed.
- Recalculate Due Date: Recalculates the task's due date based on its original timeline settings and current assignment date (e.g., updating a task due 3 business days after assignment to reflect today's date).
- Delete This Occurrence: Remove the selected task.
- Open Triggering Form: Opens the form that triggered the task.
- Log Info: Displays the activity log and history for the selected task.
You can choose one/multiple tasks and perform the above actions on them simultaneously.
[[lbl:Bulk Selection >> img:more_vert ]]: Click/Tap on [[img:more_vert]] to choose the desired action and apply it to all selected tasks simultaneously.
[Info] When reviewing a task that is marked as Completed, the available options in the [[img:more_vert>> bg:white]] three-dot menu differ.
- Mark as Non-Complete: Reverts the task status from Completed back to Pending
- Delete the Occurrence: Deletes the selected completed task
- Open Completing Form: Opens the form that completed the workflow task
- Open Triggering Form: Opens the form that triggered the task
- Log Info: Displays the activity log and history for the selected task

[Q] Can I perform actions on multiple items at once?
[A] Yes. Use the checkboxes to select multiple entries, click/tap on the three-dot menu [[img:more_vert]], choose an action, and the action will be applied to all selected items.
[Q] I marked a Workflow Task as Complete in error. Is there a way to revert completion of the task?
[A] Click on the [[img:more_vert]] on the left of the Completed task and click on Mark as Non-Complete, to change the task status to Pending.
[Q] Can I assign or reassign tasks from the dashboard?
[A] Yes. You can assign new tasks or reassign existing ones directly from the dashboard to ensure the right staff member handles each responsibility.
[Q] Can managers monitor staff performance using the dashboard?
[A] Yes. Managers can use the dashboard to track task completion rates, overdue items, and overall productivity. This helps identify workload patterns and areas needing attention.
[Q] How often is the information on the Staff Task Dashboard updated?
[A] The Staff Task Dashboard updates in real time (or near real time), ensuring all task changes, completions, and reassignments are reflected immediately for all users.
